URETHRAL CALCULI, FOREIGN BODY IN INTESTINE - A DIFFICULT CASE IN A PUG
















Nitro had multiple problems i.e. vomiting, anorexia, hematuria, urinary incontinence, lethargic and no activity at all. Blood and urine samples were sent for the analysis. Radiographs were done to find out the cause. Reports revealed presence of foreign body in the intestine and stones in urinary bladder and urethra. Enema was done and fluid therapy

and treatment was given to the dog to stabilise the condition. Dog passed stones with feces and slowly the bowls were cleared and the condition improved with time. But Urethral stones were creating the problem and finally cystotomy was done to solve the problem. Diet plan was given as per the stone analysis report.
