Ku Klux Klan vs BJP

Ku Klux Klan (KKK), known as The Klan, is the name of organizations in the United States whose purpose was to protect the rights of white farmers by violence and intimidation. They developed iconic white costumes with hooded caps. This group was created in 1865. The name Ku Klux Klan has since been used by many independent groups opposing the Civil Rights Movement and desegregation. The Klan was active in 1920s. Today, researchers estimate there may be more than 150 Klan with approximate 7000 members nationwide. The U.S. government classifies them as hate groups, with operations in separated small local units but mostly are involved in quite underground activities.

According to Jaswant Singh the BJP has become an Indian version of Ku Klux Klan? other statements like "Humpty-dumpty" and "Alice in Bunderland" - do you think these are right words to state any expelled party leader?

Firstly, the comments humpty.... and Alice ..weren't by Jaswant sing but by another senior leader Arun shourie ......And on Jaswant Sing's comment on BJP being the Indian Version of the Klan.....well who knows better than party men himself, who had always been there done that for the sake of his party,so much so that he was being referred to as the 'Hanuman' of BJP,unfortunately the party has acted hastily and made itself look more in disarray.

just my two cents !

Hi Geeta,
Mr Jaswant Singh has been with BJP for the past thirty years, and he has been in the very inner circle of the decision making as a senior member. What he says has weight! Incidenly my latest post is also on Mr Jaswant Singh.
